Thank you for helping us through.
Saturday, October 7th was the worst day for our family, as we had to say goodbye to our furry family member. It was unexpected and occurred rather quickly, as his health was deteriorating rapidly as we brought him in. Your staff was professional, courteous, and compassionate.
I've been here several times for several pets, both cats and dogs. Yes, it can be expensive. Yes, you do have to wait sometimes (just like an ER for humans). The staff is polite and genuine. It helps if you know how to itemize and negotiate your bill. I'm just grateful they are open weekends and evenings, holidays such as Christmas Eve (when my pets seem to have all their emergencies) and are close by.
REALLY unimpressed. Arrived with my cat, sat waiting around, passed from room to room while continually being told someone was coming soon. The technician then came in to check vitals but she upset my cat getting her out as she squeezed her stomach and so wouldn't do any further exam. Then after waiting a further hour were told that we needed to have her sedated to have an exam and it would cost us between $300-850(?!?) to have it. At this point we were so annoyed at sitting there so long we just asked to leave. And then we got charged $130 for the pleasure of their 'time' even though they did nothing. Beyond a joke. Don't waste your time.
I would definitely recommend this facility!
Called and talked with staff before bringing our dog in at midnight on a Saturday. Very nice helpful people. Totally upfront about any charges and let you decide what should be done for your pet.
Overall, 100% satisfied with this place! I'm comforted knowing they are close, convenient, 24 hours, and have good people there. Hoping I never need to go back (have 2 little puppies currently), but if I need to, I will fell confident going here!
We were never made to feel rushed. There was paperwork to sign, and fees to pay. Your staff never made us feel like it was a business transaction, you gently explained and were extremely caring and patient as we dealt with the loss.
First time there, a Thursday evening around 7:30. We were seen within 10 minutes. I was impressed with the place itself (the building and cleanliness and it was just a welcoming and inviting atmosphere), and I was impressed with the vet we saw and the tech. We sadly ended up having to put our 17 year old cat down that night, unexpectedly. The vet was VERY informative about all the options, the costs of each option, his thoughts on what might be wrong, etc. When we made the horribly sad decision to put him down, the vet was accommodating, let us sit in a comfortable room with him for as long as we wanted, and also let us stay with him after he was gone as well. Which I loved. Being able to hold him for a while to just let it all out was very healing. One thing I loved that they did was put an IV line in his arm before bringing him to the "comfort room" so when the time came to give him the shots, I could just keep him in my arms and we didn't have to stress him out in his last moments by sticking him with more needles. It was a calm and beautiful way to see him go. AND, 4 days later I received a hand written card from the vet with his condolences. Which I would expect from my regular vet, but not from an emergency vet who had only seen and treated him once.
