Came in on a Saturday and the food was amazing. We got our food very quick and it was very good. The service was a little slow otherwise I would give 5 stars, but it was a Saturday night so it was understandable.

Great place to go out and eat. Also a great place to celebrate birthdays. Really tasty food but the thing is that it’s just to expensive so you can’t really go there every single day/night unless you have a lot of money. But everything else is great. I love it so much that I dream of either working there or start my own buca de bespoke.
We had the most amazing experience for our son's rehearsal dinner. Sally was so helpful with the planning and everyone working that evening could not have been any more accommodating. They truly went out of their way to make our evening perfect. (Including running out to Best Buy to get us a cord we needed to share our video montage!) Everyone loved the homey atmosphere and the food was delicious. We could not have had a better event. Thank you!
Horrible service. Waited several minutes at the bar to be acknowledged and after being there for twenty minutes, the bartender never served me my beer. She did remember to charge me for it, however. My wife received her beverage after watching the bartender pour service bar drinks and chat with the other guests for over ten minutes. Can appreciate when staff are busy and earnestly doing their best but this was not the case. The calamari was inedible. We had intended to stay for dinner but after a very unpleasant thirty minutes we decided to go elsewhere. Although the manager was aware we were unhappy (we asked two different servers to talk to a manager), he/she made no effort to approach us, apologize for the lack of service or try to accommodate us in any way. We will not be back.
Quirky Italian style eatery, Christmas lights, chotchkes, random junk, and posters are f "Alice 'Big Al' Genoa" adorn the walls. Typical Italian style fare served in huge portions. Service is generally good. Food is average to good. I found what they'd call a spicy dish (if ordered "Nero" style would be super spicy) too hot for my average pallette and I don't mind a bit of spice. The value proposition isn't great unless you value big portions as nothing on this menu looks special or extraordinary except the portions. Food is served family style. Small dishes run around $20 and are enough to feed 2 well or probably 3. I'd like the option to order a single portion salad or appetizer for myself if my dining companion(s) weren't interested in getting one for the table. Did I mention the portions are insane?
