The staff was cordial and there is also indoor tennis courts if your into that.

Expensive. But I really like it. It's more of a country club than a gym. I notice many patrons who are retired or with their families. The fitness class offerings are a little light in the evenings, but I find that I get what I need! I considered joining CorePower, but that was really expensive with no variety. I find similar rigor in the Warrior Sculpt yoga classes (and some overlap of instructors). Used to work out at LA, and loved it, but the options near my house weren't great when I moved. For me, location was key! Can't sit in traffic on your way to the gym. Now, I ride my bike!

Such a poor customer service! Moved out to a different state for new adventure, where Lifetime is not in the business and yet they charged me a month fees for freckling 30 day notice period. Tried to explain that's not my mistake going to a place where lifetime is not establish but the manager was so rude at me asking to sign the documents and move out. I was 200 miles away from any LT fitness center, to cancel my subscription, they mandated me to visit any of this locations, I had to drive down just to sign couple papers. Never again to lifetime fitness center. Such a shame on their part!

Can't fathom paying diamond level prices if this was my full time gym but apparently people do.

This is expensive health club, membership fee per person is about $150/month, I have seen even bigger health clubs than this one in other states that which charge about $100/month...but like some one said it keeps idiots away, good for people who can afford it. Work out area for weights is very small and compact, they gave more importance to tennis courts and basket ball courts which occupy most space of the club, since I did not use any of those facilities (basket ball, tennis etc) and workout space being compact I ended up cancelling my membership telling them some other reason. If your goal is just to work out weights, this health club is not right for you. On one occasion while I was working out on a equipment, club trainer asked me to vacate the spot so that he can train a member using the same equipment, I have seen this happening to other members too...life time should stock enough machines for workout so that members paying $$$$$$'s should be treated nicely. I would not recommend this health club to friends.

The lifecafe is also tiny but for some reason they have a whole sushi and steak restaurant. As well as full bar. It is like they forgot this is a gym. I think that is nice but not when it seems like they sacrificed the workout area.

As someone else mentioned, this is more county club then gym. With mostly retirees it seems as its clientele. Here are my issues. The gym is tiny compared to other lifetimes. The locker room is small. Limited equipment and it feels like you are working out on top of other people. Cant even imagine this place on a Monday. I ended up just leaving in the middle of my normal routine I was so annoyed.

If you are serious about a complete workout, I would suggest another location.

I visit Life Time in Eden Prairie every morning and various evenings each week. The staff greets you each day and everyone is very friendly. The locker rooms are clean, have nice products to use when getting ready and the lockers are rarely busy. The workout space is clean, well maintained and has nice bright windows letting in a lot of natural light. The pool is great and the dining options are fantastic. The instructors of each class are absolutely amazing - they get to know you by name if you talk to them after or before class, they give you a challenging workout and one of my personal favorite classes (Yoga Sculpt) has lavender infused towels passed out while you're relaxing at the end of class....SUCH a treat after a tough workout. Another great thing about this facility is the location. Within steps outside the club's front door are running paths and trails that have great views of Purgatory Creek and connects to Staring Lake as well. Compared to other fitness gyms and other Life Time locations I have belonged to in the past, Eden Prairie Life Time feels like such a retreat each day I visit! It's a classy place with everything you need and more to enjoy a full workout and relaxation experience.

Not a typical Lifetime. Usually most Lifetimes are consistent in quality from coast to coast but I was surprised at this club. After visiting a few other Onyx level gyms(lower tier) in the area that are fantastic, I thought for sure this was going to be amazing. But I was wrong.
